Restoring the piano to standard pitch. Depending upon piano condition and service history it will generally take an hour to an hour and a half to complete a tuning. It is recommended that a piano be tuned once a year to maintain its stability and to allow a technician to inspect and head off any potential problems before they become costly repairs.
